Our Future
Buildings For Babies Ranch began hosting Family Camps and Retreats in 2009 with a goal to ultimately be a self-sustaining, working ranch where families can come and experience the aggregarian lifestyle while being encouraged and mentored.
This will give us the ability to allow women and young ladies to come and see what it would be like to live off the land, gather fresh eggs and milk, and all other provision for meals from the land, while fathers and young men can experience the rewards of harvesting game, cattle ranching, fencing, cutting hay and completing construction projects together. This provides our guests a great opportunity to work and grow together as families in a wholesome, non-denominational, Christian environment.
Mission & Purpose
of the Buildings For Babies Ranch:
To strengthen and educate families through training in biblical discipleship and patriarchal leadership, while recognizing and declaring the nobility of virtuous womanhood.
Provide a working ranch environment to bring unity in the family while drawing the heart of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers (Malachi 4:6) by spending time and working together.
To teach the concept of family vision as demonstrated in Proverbs:
“Without a vision the people perish” .
Today, dysfunctional and weak families are normative even in devout evangelical communities. Therefore, Buildings For Babies Ranch will provide guidance and instruction in biblical concepts encouraging unity and virtuousness in family relationships.
Promote the return of fathers taking leadership and dominion of their homes for the glory of God.
Provide families with an inexpensive ranch or camping haven void of worldly influence.
Promote modesty, chastity, chivalry, and courage.
Share the Schamel family vision with others and teach them to observe our five family commandments:
1) Fear God
2) Keep His commandments
3) Never have debt
4) Home school your children
5) Own a family business and apply these in all four areas of their life: family, business, health and spiritual.
Proclaim family life as the initial evidence of religion externalized.
Since Buildings For Babies Ranch is one of a very few non-profit ranches not owned by a denomination or religious affiliation, it is a haven where families can gather together in one accord without the divisions of denominational creeds.
Promote the biblical concept of children as a blessing, and the preciousness of life.
Provide encouragement in a relaxing retreat environment and minister to the ministers of the flocks of God.
